PTFE Polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon / King of Plastics)
Structure: Perfluorinated straight chain, with the carbon skeleton fully shielded by C-F bonds.
Key Properties:
●Long-term service temperature: -250~260℃; resistant to almost all acids, alkalis, solvents and aqua regia;
●Extremely low friction coefficient (0.04), non-stick, self-lubricating, and excellent electrical insulation;
●Non-melt processable by injection molding; only processable by compression molding, sintering, turning and expanded processing.
Typical Applications:
●Chemical industry: reactor linings, corrosion-resistant pipes, gaskets, bellows;
●Civil use: non-stick cookware coatings, sealing rings;
●Electronics: high-frequency cable insulation, PTFE microporous filtration membranes;
●Machinery: wear-resistant bushings, oil-free bearings.

FEP Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (Copolymer of TFE and HFP)
Properties: Similar to PTFE; melt-extrudable and injectable; temperature resistance -200~200℃, transparent, heat-sealable.
Applications:
●Transparent corrosion-resistant hoses, equipment linings, wire and cable sheaths;
●PV backsheet films, high-temperature heat-shrinkable tubes, anti-corrosion films.

PFA Perfluoroalkoxy Alkane Resin
Properties: Perfluorinated structure, temperature resistance up to 260℃ (same as PTFE), good melt flowability, injectable and extrudable, high purity, transparent.
Advantages: Significantly better creep resistance than PTFE, high dimensional stability at high temperatures.
High-End Applications:
●Semiconductor: high-purity piping / valves, wet etching equipment;
●Pharmaceutical: sterile piping, high-temperature clean seals, ultra-high-purity fluid transfer.

ETFE Ethylene-Tetrafluoroethylene Copolymer
Properties: High strength, high light transmittance ≈95%, lightweight, UV-resistant, self-extinguishing, temperature resistance -200~150℃.
Applications:
●Architectural membranes: Water Cube, airport canopies, inflatable domes;
●PV encapsulation films, greenhouses, aerospace cables, lightweight structural components.

PVDF Polyvinylidene Fluoride (Semi-fluorinated, Core Material for Lithium Batteries)
Properties: High mechanical strength, easy processing, acid and alkali resistance, piezoelectric / pyroelectric effects, excellent weather resistance; temperature resistance -40~150℃.
Core Applications:
●Lithium batteries: cathode binders, separator coatings, energy storage films;
●Chemical industry: corrosion-resistant pumps and valves, pipe linings, filtration membranes;
●Sensors: piezoelectric sensors, architectural fluorocarbon coatings, PV backsheets.

PCTFE Polychlorotrifluoroethylene (Chlorine-containing Fluoroplastic)
Properties: Extremely low gas and moisture barrier, ultra-low temperature resistance down to -200℃, easy to bond and print, transparent optical grade.
Applications:
●High-barrier pharmaceutical packaging, cryogenic seals for liquid oxygen;
●Infrared optical windows, vacuum seals, precision gaskets.

PVF Polyvinyl Fluoride
Properties: Superb weather resistance, low gas permeability, wear resistance, specially designed for films and coatings.
Applications:
●Architectural exterior wall fluorocoatings, PV backsheet protection, weather-resistant protective films.
