CMSI-25/03 FPV Filtration Pressure Value Tester is a high-precision lab instrument for quantitative testing and characterization of color masterbatch and filler masterbatch dispersion. Widely used in plastic, colorant and chemical industries, it consists of a 25mm single-screw extrusion unit, melt pump system, screen changer and intelligent control system.
With precision extrusion, constant-flow melt pump and imported high-accuracy pressure sensors, the equipment melts and extrudes masterbatch with base material at stable speed. It monitors real-time melt pressure before the filter screen and automatically calculates the FPV value to quantify dispersion performance — the smaller the FPV value, the better the dispersion effect. It effectively solves the drawbacks of traditional empirical testing without data support, and is compatible with PP, PE, PET, PS, PA and other common polymer materials.

Operating Procedures
1)Clean the barrel with pure base material and mix color masterbatch with base material in standard proportion.
2)Install filter screen, feed base material, and adjust screw and melt pump speed to stabilize inlet pressure at 30–60bar and maintain stable initial screen pressure.
3)Replace base material with prepared masterbatch mixture, start testing and record the complete pressure variation curve.
4)After mixture extrusion, add a small amount of pure base material to finish the test without material interruption.
