Composed of three independent extruders, 3-layer co-extrusion die, casting cooling system, traction winding and online laminating unit, the equipment fully simulates industrial film coating and casting process.
Product Introduction
Three-layer casting and laminating test line consists of three independent extruders, a 3-layer co-extrusion die, casting cooling rolls, traction and winding units as well as a laminating module. Equipped with an integrated film coating forming unit, it is a lab-scale small laminating production line specially developed for PP coating processes.
Designed for the R&D of high-barrier food films, medical composite films, biodegradable films, lithium battery functional films and optical packaging films, the whole line fully replicates the full process of industrial mass-production coating. A single set of equipment can complete all working procedures including 3-layer co-extrusion casting, online coating on woven substrates, cooling shaping and constant-tension traction & winding. It provides solutions for formula verification, process parameter confirmation and small-batch sample preparation for university material laboratories and R&D centers of new material enterprises.

●Three Independent Extrusion Systems with Flexible 3-Layer Structure Switching
Equipped with three precision servo single-screw extruders featuring independent temperature control, metering and speed regulation for each main unit. The die supports symmetrical ABA and asymmetrical ABC three-layer structures with stepless adjustment of thickness ratio for each film layer. It is applicable to experiments matching various barrier, heat-sealing and substrate functional layers, effectively solving common problems such as uneven lamination and delamination of multi-layer formulations.
●Precision Die with Uniform Extrusion and No Material Stagnation
The streamlined three-layer co-extrusion die adopts mirror polishing design with dead-space-free flow channels to avoid carbonization and retention of heat-sensitive materials. The die lip clearance can be precisely adjusted to ensure tight film thickness tolerance, delivering finished films free of stripes, bubbles and wrinkles.
●Precise Temperature Control for Excellent Film Forming Quality
An independent multi-zone temperature control system delivers a temperature control accuracy of ±1℃, eliminating local overheating and material carbonization caused by stagnation.
●Full Servo Drive for Strong Process Synchronization
All main units including extruders, cooling casting rolls, laminating rolls, traction and winding devices are driven by independent servo motors with closed-loop synchronous speed control. Combined with a constant-tension winding system, the finished film is wound neatly and compactly with uniform thickness and stable composite layers, guaranteeing high repeatability of test data.
●Intelligent Electrical Control System
Adopts PLC and touch screen integrated intelligent control system, supporting one-click parameter setting, real-time operation monitoring, automatic fault self-checking, data storage and export for convenient and intelligent operation.
●Wide Material Compatibility
Compatible with various thermoplastic materials including PE, PP, PET, PA, nylon, biodegradable plastics and modified polymers. It can be used for functional coating lamination, multi-layer co-extrusion modification and feasibility verification of new material forming, covering most film R&D scenarios.
●Optional Modules & Customization Available
Optional configurations include electrostatic air knife, online thickness detection, visual defect inspection, hydraulic screen changer and double-sided laminating unit. Customized wider dies and high-temperature models can be provided to meet personalized process requirements.
