The full process, including melt extrusion, three‑layer polymer confluence, rapid chill‑roll casting, traction, edge trimming and constant‑tension winding, can be completed within a limited laboratory space.
This unit is equipped with two independent precision single‑screw extruders and an ABA three‑layer distribution co‑extrusion die, enabling accurate fabrication of A‑B‑A structured films. The outer layer A can adopt identical formulations, while the middle core layer B can incorporate functional additives for modification, barrier or toughening purposes.Formulas and process parameters obtained from laboratory trials can be directly scaled‑up to industrial production lines, which greatly reduces trial‑and‑error costs and shortens the development cycle of new polymer materials.
