It processes PCL, PLA, PE, PP and other polymers. Integrated with extrusion, casting, haul-off and winding functions, SIEMENS PLC control. Ideal for formulation research, process tuning and sample making of biodegradable films & functional films.

Product Introduction

Small precision single screw extrusion casting experimental line is a precision lab-scale machine designed for polymer material formulation research, casting film process verification and small-batch sample production. With mature precision extrusion and casting technology, it is suitable for film preparation experiments of general plastics, biodegradable materials and functional polymers. Widely used in university labs, corporate new material R&D centers for process optimization and sample testing.

Adopting modular compact design, the line features high automation and excellent process precision. The whole system includes small precision single screw extruder, optional melt pump system, manual screen changer, precision casting die with hanger, small precision casting auxiliary machine. It can continuously complete plasticizing extrusion, melt filtration, casting or coating, edge trimming, precision haul-off and winding in one online process. It helps researchers finish film forming experiments in one station, reduces material consumption and shortens R&D cycle.

Equipped with SIEMENS PLC intelligent control system, high-precision temperature & pressure sensors and servo speed regulation. Stable operation and good repeatability. It accurately replicates industrial casting production to provide reliable experimental data for mass production parameter setup, material performance evaluation and formula optimization.

Main System Composition

●Small Precision Single Screw Extruder

The core plasticizing unit. Optimized screw design with proper L/D ratio and multi-zone independent temperature control. It realizes uniform plasticization and stable melt extrusion with steady flow and low pressure fluctuation. Compatible with polymers of different viscosity, avoids material degradation and poor plasticization. Servo motor for stepless speed adjustment to match different materials and target film thickness.

●Optional Melt Pump System

Melt metering pump can be selected for higher experimental precision. It stabilizes melt flow rate and extrusion pressure, improves film thickness uniformity and reduces process fluctuation. Suitable for high-precision functional films and ultra-thin film development.

●Manual Screen Changer

Easy and fast screen changing. It filters impurities, gel particles and unplasticized pellets from melt to improve film surface quality, reduce fish eyes and defects. Convenient for material switching and cleaning, ideal for multi-formula alternating tests.

●Precision Casting Die with Hanger

Optimized internal flow channel without dead zone or material stagnation. Uniform melt distribution and consistent output. Adjustable die gap for different film thickness. Fixed with matched hanger for accurate positioning to guarantee flat and stable casting.

●Small Precision Casting Auxiliary Machine

Integrated cooling setting, edge trimming, haul-off and winding. Mirror finished cooling roll with high surface accuracy, wear and corrosion resistance. Forced air cooling for fast and uniform film cooling. Each roller group adopts independent servo drive for high synchronous precision. Constant tension winding produces wrinkle-free flat film with good sample consistency.
