Vertical biaxial stretcher apparatus for thin films consists of a clamping assembly, a stretching assembly, a heating oven assembly, a pneumatic air curtain assembly, and an electrical control system. It can perform tensile tests on film samples of a certain size at a suitable temperature and to the required stretch ratio, simulating the industrial production process of biaxially stretched films. The equipment features a vertical design, a compact structure, and a small footprint. The clamps have been upgraded to pneumatic clamps, making operation more convenient. It is an ideal tool for laboratory applications in film formulation design, process optimization, and performance testing.

Product Introduction

Biaxial Stretcher is composed of clamping assembly, stretching assembly, stretching mechanism moving assembly, hot oven assembly, pneumatic air curtain assembly and electrical control system, etc.

Biaxial Stretcher can stretch the film samples of a certain size according to the required tensile ratio at a suitable temperature and time for the tensile test, and the data obtained from the test can be analyzed by the researcher.

Biaxial Stretcher developed by POTOP is a data-based engineering instrument with good repeatability and accurate data; it can be operated offline and is equivalent to a production line; it can improve experimental efficiency and shorten product development cycle.

● Multiple Flexible Stretching Modes​ 

Supports multiple stretching modes such as simultaneous stretching and longitudinal-first-then-transverse stretching; the stretching ratio and speed in the longitudinal and transverse directions can be independently adjusted to meet different R&D needs.​ 

● Vertical Design​ 

The vertical structure is compact, saving laboratory space, easy to operate, and suitable for high-frequency use scenarios in laboratories.

● Precise Drive and Control​ 

Adopting dual high-performance servo motor drive with large torque and stable output, it realizes variable speed stretching of 0-300mm/s. Equipped with precision lead screw track transmission, the stretching speed is steplessly adjustable, and the temperature control accuracy is high, ensuring stable experimental process and repeatable data. Multiple PID temperature control points are provided to ensure uniform heating of the sample.​ 

● Digital Engineering Instrument​ 

The equipment is a digital engineering instrument with good repeatability and accurate data; it can generate tensile test curves for in-depth analysis by researchers.
